February and March Beauty Favourites

Hello everybody!

It’s almost the end of March so I decided to write my favourite kind of a post- Monthly Favourites! But I’ve mostly loved beauty related products and because of that I’ll slightly change the Favourite series and I’ll name it Beauty Favourites (but only for these two months, I hope!). So here are my favourite beauty products I’ve been loving through February and March.

Essence Lipstick: Love Me

After I had been obsessed with Essence’s lipstick All You Need Is Red, I’ve decided to get one in a more pinkish shade. My friend bought me this one for my birthday and I’ve been loving it ever since then. The shade is a light pink and it’s perfect for the spring and summer. It stays quite long on the lips, which is probably the main thing I love about Essence’s lipsticks.

Essence Nail Polish: Be Berry Now!

Nail polishes are another thing I love about Essence. They offer a lot of different shades and they stay on nails for a long time, which is great for when I climb. I also got this nail polish for my birthday from my other friend. The shade looks gorgeous; I apply it in two coats for a brighter colour.

Essence Mascara: Plump No Clump

I’ve already mentioned this mascara in Favourite Drugstore Mascaras and I still love it! I wasn't a big fan of Essence’s mascaras until two months ago, I really don’t know why. But now I probably use them almost every day, especially this one doesn’t clump and it’s so easy to remove. I’m really thankful to people on Ask.fm who talked about it every day and convinced me in buying it.

Catrice: Photo Finish Concealer

It was about a time to buy a concealer since dark circles under my eyes are getting bigger every day. This one comes in a shade 010 Sand Beige and it’s really great for covering up the dark circles, I only use it for that. I also like the twist-pen with a brush applicator which makes application quite easy.

Nivea Soft: Moisturizing Creme

So Nivea is probably the only brand I can’t imagine living without! I use their creams, hair sprays, shampoos, body lotions... all the time. At the moment I’m loving this cream for body, hands and face. I use it pretty much every day, because in the winter I have quite dry skin on the face, but I also use it for my hands, because they crack often in this time of the year.

Ebelin DM: Nail Polish Remover

I actually got this nail polish remover when I went to a DM Running for women one year ago and I haven't used it until a few weeks ago. But now I actually prefer pads over a regular nail polish remover and these pads also have a fruity fragrance- the smell reminds me of chewing gums from my childhood.

Have you tried any of these products? What products did you love using in February and March and would recommend buying them?

I hope you enjoy reading blog from another teenager!

The Versatile Blogger Award

Thursday, March 12, 2015 Sara Wallflower 19 Comments

Hello everybody!

Not long ago I was nominated by two lovely bloggers simplifypoison and missdream-girl for The Versatile Blogger Award and since I haven’t done one in quite a long time- I think I wrote the last post like this in July, I decided to write this one. All I have to do is write 7 facts about me, so that way you can get to know me better and then nominate 15 other bloggers. That actually sounds quite simple, but trying to write 7 facts about myself isn’t that easy!

So here are 7 facts I came up with:

1. I’m a perfectionist. I have to do everything as perfect as I imagine in my head, otherwise I think I’m not good enough. This is sometimes a gift and sometimes a curse.

2. I’m a realist. I’ve never dreamt about a prince on white horse or about things that most kids and then teenagers would. I sometimes feel like I’ve grown too fast and that actually scares me.

3. I’m currently obsessed with Criminal Minds, The Kooks and Kodaline, tea and sweaters. But my all time obsessions would include watermelon and cats (I actually don’t like people who don’t like cats).

4. People say I’m cold- hearted, because apparently I don’t have feelings. It’s just hard for me to express my feelings of any kind- sadness, joy or anger (well I do sometimes have problems with controlling my anger, but let’s just say I express my emotions with anger).

5. I’m overly obsessed with organization and I always clean my room when I have time. But there are also days when I feel so lazy that I won’t even put my clothes in the wardrobe.

6. I extremely fast become emotionally attached to a person, but it’s also easy for me to forget about people I lose contacts with.

7. I know I don’t show that so often, but my family and my friends means so much to me, I can’t even explain. Even though I argue with them all the time, I wouldn’t want to change them for anything.

I needed a week to write 7 facts about me, so I’m really thankful to my family and friends for helping me. And this was a great chance to find out that they don’t even know me that well after so many years. I guess I’ll just have to tell them stories about me all the time from now on. :)

Because I'm quite late with this post, I'm not sure who had already done The Versatile Blogger Award, so I nominate everyone who reads this.

I hope you enjoy reading blog from another teenager!

UPAJ when you take that jump…

Sunday, March 01, 2015 Sara Wallflower 32 Comments

Hello everybody!

UPAJ when you take that jump or in English HOPE when you take that jump. This is a part of lyrics from OneRepublic’s song I lived, because sometimes all you need while taking that jump or making an important decision in life is hope.

I love when the snow covers the land and everything looks like a winter wonderland, but I absolutely despise the cold. My sister did a great job today as being my photographer, taking into account that we walked around half an hour to the nearest shop, along with searching for the most suitable place for shooting. After buying some food (we had to eat something- shooting for a blog is quite tiring) we then chose a forest behind my sister’s school for our shooting place. I literally almost froze while shooting photos for this OOTD, but my sister and I actually had quite some fun during marching through the snow and standing in the cold wearing roll-neck sweater wasn’t that bad either. I also had some chocolate in my bag, so every time my sister wanted to leave, I bribed her with sweets.

Sweaters are probably one of my favourite things about winter, but roll- neck sweaters are even better and more comfortable. This faux leather skirt is essentially my only skirt and I love it, even though I’m a fan of high-waisted pants. Besides black coat, ankle boots and skirt I wore my mother’s gray-red scarf.

I also have to mention the bag, my belated birthday present, which I was so excited about. Bag New York seems perfect for me, as I always keep so many unimportant things in my bags. You can probably see from the photos, my bag contains quite some things as water, scarf, vanity bag, sweets and the list goes on and on. My best friend sometimes calls me Mary Poppins!

And because of that I’m glad I discovered UPAJ, a Slovene clothing brand with style, soul and an idea, managed by Anja Koželj, Nike Koležnik and Petra Å kabar. Their bags and T-shirts are handmade, which is probably my favourite thing about UPAJ, because as you all probably know, I’m obsessed with handmade things. They are available to you on Facebook or you can order their products by contacting them on upajkontakt@gmail.com, 040 263 662 or 051 330 686.

Skirt: Forever 21
Roll-neck sweater: second-hand
Coat: C&ABoots: MASS
Bag New York: UPAJ
I hope you enjoy reading blog from another teenager!
