Girl Power (YouTubers #4)

Hello everybody!

Since the school year has started, I have somewhat neglected YouTube. I still often watch videos of my favourite YouTubers, but not every day like I used to. I also unsubscribed from some people and I don’t watch every video and vlog (I was literally obsessed with YouTubers between summer holiday as you can tell), because I just don’t have enough time. But I wanted to share with you some of my favourite YouTubers at the moment whose videos always make me laugh/ make my day/ are really interesting.

Lauren Elizabeth

Lauren Elizabeth is fashion, beauty and lifestyle YouTube personality. I’m obsessed with her videos, she’s always so funny and actually tries to come up with a new topic all the time, which is amazing. I also love her style and the way she talks and acts, the way she can be immensely funny, but also serious when it’s necessary.

Jenna Marbles

Jenna Marbles is an American entertainer and YouTube personality and I probably don’t have to say that she is the queen of YouTube. Her videos are in addition to Jacksgap’s videos the first ones I’ve ever watched. And back then I hadn’t even known that there’s such a thing as YouTubers, I had just watched her videos, because they seemed funny. I especially enjoy watching her random videos like This Are This and Everything is Glue, they always make my day.

Miranda Sings

Miranda Sings is probably one of my favourite YouTubers of all time. I never miss any of her videos, she’s just so hilarious. I really appreciate Colleen as she regularly posts videos on both of her channels and does many different things beside this. And I have to say that Miranda is also my favourite singer, dancer, actor, model and magician and I’ll probably be Mirfanda for a long time.

Shani Grimmond

Shani Grimmond is a fashion, beauty and lifestyle YouTuber. I actually can’t remember how I found out about her, but ever since then I’m in love with her. I love her videos, she always emits positive energy and I especially enjoy watching her advice videos. Also her accent sounds so cute, I just can’t stop listening to it and her makeup always looks amazing.

Arden Rose

Arden Rose is a YouTube personality who makes comedy, advice videos and she also includes variety of other themes. She’s probably one of the few people I want to meet someday. I love how she’s a really down to earth person, and her vlogs with Will are just the best thing to watch. It’s great when she makes videos with Lauren Elizabeth, Andrea and Jenn, they are kind of a friendship goals.

IISuperwomanII

Lilly Singh is a YouTube personality who makes comedy videos. I absolutely love her videos- music videos, funny videos and especially collaboration videos and videos where she dresses up as her parents. For some reason I really like her songs, they’re always so catchy, like her last song #IVIVI. I also have to mention my unhealthy obsession with her hair.

It was quite difficult for me to choose only six YouTubers, so I guess I’ll have to write another post in this series quite soon. And because spring holiday is in less than a week and because I don’t have a life- which YouTubers would you recommend me to check out?

OOTD, New Hair and my Father’s Birthday

Saturday, April 11, 2015 Sara Wallflower 25 Comments

Hello everybody!

I’m that kind of a person who gets bored really easily. I get bored of my clothes. I get bored of people. I get bored of TV series. And lately I’ve really got bored of my hair. I’ve had a blonde- brown ombré for almost a year now and I actually hated it. So I decided to make a change. I wanted to cut my hair short, but my hair is my security blanket and I guess I’d feel less confident with short hair. But my hair was quite damaged, so my hair is around 15-20 cm shorter than yesterday. And I also had it dyed to chocolate brown/ dark brown and I love this colour so much!

In the last few days it became quite warm, so I wore short- sleeved top with Peter Pan collar and flower print. I combined it with mid waisted jeggings and black ankle boots.

I have to thank my sister who did my makeup and who was again my photographer. If she hadn’t done this, I would have still been dressed in sweatpants, oversized T- shirt with no makeup on my father’s birthday!

Finally, I want to say happy birthday to my daddy. I appreciate every single moment with him, even though we don’t spend a lot of time together because of school and work. I really miss our little hikes. But I’m still thankful to have a father like him. He’s the best.

Easter Crafts & Decorations

Saturday, April 04, 2015 Sara Wallflower 12 Comments

Hello everybody!

Lately I’ve been really busy with school, school tests, essays, climbing trainings, etc. so this is the reason I’m not writing posts more regularly.

But since it’s Easter, I thought I’d show you how my sister and I decorated our house, how we painted Easter eggs... At the begging I want to point out that Easter is Christian and cultural festival and I ‘celebrate’ it even though I’m not Christian. By celebrate I mean that we only paint Easter eggs, decorate house, eat Easter treats and so on, I actually don’t know anything about Easter. But ever since I was little my sister, mother and I would paint Easter eggs in many different colours and we would put stickers on them. And that became our tradition. My mother also used to hide chocolate eggs/ chickens/ rabbits and then my sister and I had to find them.

This year we were a bit lazier, so we only decorated some branches with colourful plastic eggs. Our basket filled with chocolate treats is getting emptier every minute. My sister and I also painted some Easter eggs, but we weren’t really good at that, as in the end our hands were more colourful than the eggs. We still had so much fun and this is all that matters, right? And I can’t wait for tomorrow’s Easter lunch- there will be lots and lots of food, what more could I even wish for?

For me, Easter means spending time with my family, hanging out with my sister while painting Easter eggs, listening to old songs while decorating the house, talking about random things while eating too many eggs and chocolate. And the most important thing- I don’t have to go to school on Monday (my words were becoming too deep, so I had to write this).

I hope you’ll eat as many chocolate eggs as you can, because I’m sure going to do this in the next few days. :)
